Paramount Plus has launched its Black Friday deal and it will be available through December 4. New and returning customers can pay as little as $3 per month for the first two months for a monthly subscription. Choose from the ad-based Essential plan or the ad-free Paramount Plus with Showtime and stream NFL football, Landman, Lioness and upcoming releases like Dexter: Original Sin.
When the two-month discount expires, you will be billed at Paramount Plus’ regular monthly rates, which are $8 for Essential and $13 for Paramount Plus with Showtime.
Did you know that you can subscribe to streaming services such as Apple TV Plus, Paramount Plus and Max via Prime Video? These add-on subscriptions typically cost the same as outside Prime Video, but you can save on some now before Black Friday.
Prime Video customers can sign up for the following add-ons and get a two-month discount: Paramount Plus, MGM Plus, AMC Plus, Discovery Plus, Crunchyroll, Starz, Hallmark Plus, Cinemax, ViX Premium, BritBox, PBS Masterpiece, Acorn Television and more. After the months are up, you will pay the standard price for the service unless you cancel. The amount you pay for the two months varies: for MGM Plus it is $1.75 per month; for Paramount Plus it costs $3, so head over to Prime Video’s site if you’re curious.

The streaming platform is cutting subscription prices by 50%, dropping the monthly price to $15 per month (with a minimum three-month subscription) or the annual subscription to $10 per month for 12 months. You can also pay for the annual subscription upfront instead of monthly, saving you about $1 per month. The deal expires on November 29.

These discounts are available until December 2.

Do Black Friday streaming service deals actually save you money?
In general, yes. Many streaming services offer really great Black Friday deals. For example, top streamers like Hulu and Peacock have offered great rates during Black Friday sales. Last year, Hulu even offered a year of service for just $1 a month. The caveat, however, is that some Black Friday deals will be exclusive to new subscribers, while others may only last a few months, instead of the entire year. If you know you want to sign up for a streaming service soon, it’s best to skip free trial offers and sign up as a new subscriber closer to Black Friday instead.
Which streaming services typically offer the best Black Friday deals?
That’s hard to say because it depends on your preferences. However, it’s worth noting that Netflix hasn’t previously participated in Black Friday price cuts, while we’ve seen deals from Peacock, Disney, Hulu, Starz, Fubo and more, so there should be plenty of supply to help you get access to new content at a great price.
