Play Stalker 2 now and more games coming soon with Xbox Game Pass

Microsoft added the remastered Spyro trilogy to Game Pass earlier in November, allowing subscribers to play as the iconic purple dragon. Now Microsoft is taking subscribers back to the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone in the sequel to the award-winning Stalker.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate – a CNET Editors’ Choice award pick – offers hundreds of games to play on your Xbox Series $20 per month. With a subscription you get access to a large library of games, with new titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 added every month, plus other benefits like online multiplayer and offers on non-Game Pass titles.

Little Kitty, Big City (console)

Microsoft added this game to Game Pass in May and now Game Pass Standard subscribers can also play the game. All you really need to know about this game is that you play as a cat and explore the city and make friends. Oh, and you can wear hats! A hat with bunny ears, an apple hat, a frog hat, just all kinds of cute hats. The trailer tells you to find your way back home, but there are a lot of pots on the wall that you can knock over. So you can definitely go home, but again, there are pots. I know what I’m going to do.

PlateUp (console)

Other Game Pass subscribers have been able to play this game since February, and Game Pass Standard subscribers can now play the game as well. PlateUp is a cooking action game that lets you experience the ups and downs of the restaurant business without any financial risk. You design your restaurant and kitchen, cook dishes and plan who works which shifts so that your new place thrives.

Nine Sol

Available now.

Don’t be fooled by the cute, feline hero, this game can be cruel. This 2D action platformer is about revenge. You play as an ancient hero who awakens from a 500-year sleep and embarks on a vengeful journey against those who imprisoned him. The hand-drawn art style and gameplay inspired by Sekiro make this a uniquely challenging and beautiful game.

Aliens: Dark Origins

Available: November 27

Lead a team to stop a new type of xenomorph on a remote planet in this game based on the Alien film series. Customize your team with different soldier classes, upgrade your skills and arsenal, and take on one of the deadliest creatures in the galaxy. Will you and your team fall prey like many before you, or will you lead them to victory?

Games will soon be leaving Game Pass

While Microsoft will add these games to Game Pass soon, nine others will be removed from the service on November 30. So you still have some time to complete your campaign or any side missions before you have to buy these games separately.
