Extraordinary moment Labor defector Fatima Payman blasts Pauline Hanson, claiming she’s ‘vindictive, mean, nasty’ before uttering ultimate insult during epic meltdown

A Labor defector has unleashed a vicious attack on Pauline Hanson, accusing the One Nation leader of racism and claiming she is a ‘disgrace to humanity’.

Fatima Payman, who left Labor to form her own party, was speaking after Senator Hanson attempted to table a document citing Senator Payman’s possible Afghan citizenship as the reason for her exclusion from Parliament on Wednesday morning.

Section 44c of the Australian Constitution prohibits a person who has citizenship of another country from sitting in parliament.

However, Senator Payman has previously sought legal advice confirming that she can run for Senator as she has taken all possible steps to renounce her Afghan citizenship, which the Taliban-controlled state has not yet completed.

Senator Payman used the Senate to accuse Senator Hanson of racism.

“Senator Hanson wore the burqa here. Maybe it’s time for her to pack her burqa and go to Afghanistan and talk to the Taliban about this,” Sen. Payman fumed.

“All Senator Hanson has done here is sow hatred and division.

“I’m very honored to live rent-free in Senator Hanson’s eyes, but I think you have better things to do than worry about Section 44.”

She added: “Not only are you vindictive, mean, vile, you bring shame to the human race. No dignity whatsoever as a senator.”

There’s more to come.
