Not much surprises Ash Jenner in his work, but even the young lifeguard was stunned after a pregnant tiger shark was washed his local beach.
The resident of North Stradbroke Island helped not only save the monster four meters shark, but also helped to give birth to four puppies on the coast.
The pregnant shark washed on Friday morning on the main beach in Queensland after a steel drum line.
Jenner, 21, patroled that day on the beach and quickly came into action.
“I thought Holy F *** is a big shark,” he told Daily Mail Australia.
'We saw the drumline on the beach and went down and we saw a four -meter tiger shark that was really pregnant.
'It already had [given birth to] Two puppies on the beach and they swam around and were fine, but the shark was quite lifeless. '
Pauly Debono of the Quandamooka Land & Sea Management Agency was also present to cut the drumline hook out of the mouth of the shark.
