The Swedish police have arrested three men outside the Israeli embassy in Stockholm on suspicion of preparing violent crime.
The three men were arrested by the police earlier tonight near the embassy, but not inside, the Swedish police confirmed.
Police spokesperson, Susanna Rinaldo, said, “We can't comment on the potential motive.”
The three men are suspected of planning an attack on the embassy, according to unnamed sources that are cited by the Swedish broadcaster TV4.
Only a matter of months ago, in October, the police of the country increased the safety around the Israeli embassies in both Stockholm and Copenhagen after a series attacks.
Schoten were fired at the Stockholm embassy at the beginning of October, but nobody was injured.

And little more than a day later, two explosions were reported near the embassy in Central Copenhagen.
Two Swedish teenagers, 16 and 19 years old, were arrested and accused of possessing hand grenades and exploding them at the embassy.
The SAPO of Sweden was claimed that Iran might have been involved in the attacks, although they admitted 'this was an assumption then not of pure knowledge'.
At the beginning of 2024, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson promised to sharpen the supervision of Jewish institutions in the nation after a 'dangerous object' was found outside the Stockholm embassy.
