‘Recognisable’ Coleen Rooney was praised for the way she deals with the misbehavior of sons
COLEEN Rooney has been praised for being ‘so relatable’ after opening up about her approach to parenting.
The WAG shares four sons with husband Wayne: Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, eight, and Cass, six.

But she has to do a lot of the legwork herself as Wayne lives 260 miles from the family home in Cheshire, currently living in Salacombe while working as head coach of Plymouth Argyle.
And Coleen told Fearne Cotton on her Happy Place podcast that being a mother has become harder as she has had more children.
“If you have one, you know, I had time to go out on these days out,” she sighed.
“And you know, I try to do a lot.
“Especially now that Wayne is gone, I do a lot of it alone.”
She added that people often ask her how she copes with the four boys without Wayne on hand, continuing: “You just keep going and you make it work no matter what.
“At the beginning of the week I can look at the diary and think, Oh, how am I going to deal with this?
“But I know I will!”
Coleen also opened up about how she deals with her children when they are naughty, as she recalled an incident when Kai got in trouble for joking with another child at school.
After he came home and said the other child’s parents were coming to school, Coleen had some sage advice for Kai.
“I thought, ‘well, do you think he should have done that?'” she said.
“He said, ‘No. I said, well, please.’
‘In the morning you go straight to school, you tell the teacher and whatever happens, you deal with it.
“But she’ll appreciate you more if you go in and get things in order before the parents come.”
She told Kai that otherwise he would “sit there anxiously all day waiting for the call to come from class.”
And when Kai did, the teacher later told him she was “really impressed” with the way he handled the situation.

Coleen said: ‘I didn’t think I snored, but Wayne says I snore.
“Not continuously, but every now and then.
“I’ve been in the public eye for over twenty years now and people take what they want from it.
“I think people will get a better idea of what kind of person I am.”
After talking about her life as a parent, other moms and dads took to the comments section of the TikTok video shared during the podcast interview to praise Coleen.
“She doesn’t miss a trick on this woman,” one person wrote.
