A huge explosion rocked a Hawaiian beach resort on Thursday and injured several people.
The incident happened in the Whaler Resort on Ka'anapali Beach, with authorities who believe that a gas bus in the BBQ area was responsible for the explosion.
Images recorded in the four -star resort showed the grill area right next to the picturesque beach that went into smoke, with debris that varies in a plume over the sand.
Those who enjoy the last hours of sunshine on the beach can see from the explosion in fear.
Maui Memorial Medical Center confirmed on Friday that nine people had been treated for their injuries, in which two were flown to Oahu for treatment.
At least three were critical, but are now in a stable state, officials said. The remaining four have been released.
The police in Maui had originally said that seven people were injured, with their age ranging from 18 to 74.
Provisional investigations point to the explosion from a liquid petroleum gas, which is common in BBQ areas, the authorities said.

Cindy Johnson now said to Hawaii News: “It was like an explosion, so everyone in both towers heard and ran down there and thought it was a bomb.
“They realized that when they saw the police arriving and the doctors, the ambulances that something happened there in the barbecue area.
'I just feel incredibly sad that people just a normal evening barbing, enjoying their families and friends, and this explosion happened. I can't understand. '
Gino Chicodo said to Khon2: 'I could almost feel the vibrations through the sand.
“I knew immediately that it was a gas explosion and then the following that you know that there are helicopters, sirens, and we knew something serious had happened.”
Another man who saw the explosion said that the entire building began to shake, according to the outlet valve.
In a statement, the hotel said: 'The incident tragically resulted in seven people injuries according to the Maui Police Department.
