'Proud brother': Rahul Gandhi captures a special moment as Priyanka Gandhi Vadra enters Parliament; watch video
NEW DELHI: The Congress on Thursday posted a “cute” video of Rahul Gandhi taking pictures of Sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as she was on her way to take oath as the Lok Sabha MP by Wayanad.
Priyanka was on her way to enter Parliament when she was stopped by Rahul, who then took out his phone to capture the moment for his sister: “Let me take this too,” he said.
The video attracted several comments, with one user saying: “Sibling goals activated!”

She also met Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and took his blessings.
Priyanka had thanked Rahul after winning the Wayanad elections. “To my mother, Robert and my two jewels: Raihan and Miraya, no gratitude is ever enough for the love and courage you give me. And to my brother, Rahul, you are the bravest of them all… thank you for supporting me the way and with my back, always!” she had said.

Priyanka took oath as an MP in the Lok Sabha, holding a copy of the Constitution. Present at the ceremony were her family members, including her mother Sonia Gandhi, brother Rahul Gandhi and her children, Raihan and Miraya Vadra.
“Having been elected a member of the House of the People, I solemnly affirm that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India as established by law. I will uphold the sovereignty and integrity of India and faithfully discharge the duties of the office I am about to assume. Having been elected a Member of the House of the People, I solemnly affirm that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India as established by the India Act and will faithfully discharge the duties of the office which I hold about to take over,” she said while taking up the position Indian Constitution.
She had won the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat by a significant margin of 4,10,931 votes, defeating Sathyan Mokeri of the Communist Party of India (CPI).
