Kamala Harris wears the same outfit from the viral video with blue eyes to wish Americans a happy Thanksgiving
Vice President Kamala Harris delivered a Thanksgiving message with husband Doug Emhoff — wearing the same outfit she wore in the now-infamous bleary-eyed video earlier this week, which sparked concerns that she was drunk.
The Democratic Party’s X account posted Harris’ earlier video on Tuesday, in which she told supporters, “Never let anyone take your power away from you.”
The 28-second message, in which Harris spoke hesitantly at times, raised eyebrows, with online commentators suggesting the vice president was drunk when she recorded it.
In the newer, pre-recorded Thanksgiving message, Harris looks much fresher, but she’s wearing the same brown suit and necklace and standing in front of the same backdrop.
“Greetings everyone and happy Thanksgiving,” Harris said.
“Today we come together to reflect on what we are grateful for and to share our appreciation for each other,” Emhoff chimed in. “Surrounded by family, friends and those we cherish, we cook our favorite recipes, share family stories, serve those in need and give thanks for our blessings.”
Harris then said Thanksgiving was a time to “express our gratitude” to American service members and their families.
“So again, from our family to yours,” she said. “Happy Thanksgiving everyone!” Harris and Emhoff said in unison.

The vice president and second gentleman spent a six-day vacation on the Big Island of Hawaii before traveling to the Bay Area ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
However, they were back in DC for turkey day.
The entire Harris-Emhoff clan visited DC Central Kitchen, a nonprofit that receives donations from local restaurants to feed those in need.
Both of Emhoff’s children, Ella and Cole, were in attendance, along with Cole’s wife Greenley Littlejohn, as well as Harris’ sister Maya, her husband Tony West and their daughter Meena, who brought along her little ones Amara and Leela.
Harris and her relatives were tasked with de-stemming collard greens to make the traditional Southern dish.
“This isn’t my first rodeo,” said Ella Emhoff, as family members tried to determine who cleared the greens the fastest.
“Everything in this family is a competition,” Meena Harris said, as the vice president echoed her with a laugh, “Everything in this family is a competition.”
Harris, a skilled cook, told reporters at the scene that her Thanksgiving menu included turkey and ham, her famous cornmeal stuffing, sweet potatoes, string beans, Brussels sprouts, a salad and rolls.

Harris is reportedly considering a third presidential bid in 2028 after losing every swing state to newly elected President Donald Trump earlier this month.
She has kept a low profile since giving her concession speech on the grounds of her alma mater, Howard University.
Harris appeared alongside President Joe Biden at a Veterans Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery and also had lunch with him at the White House before heading to Hawaii.
Asked at DC Central Kitchen what was next, Harris replied: “Thanksgiving dinner.”
