A former Neighbors star who married her stepbrother has revealed they are about to welcome a child together.
Scarlet Vas, best known for her role as police officer Mishti Sharma in the soap, and her husband Tayo Ricci will welcome a baby girl next month.
The couple met as teenagers in Melbourne, but they eventually became ‘family’ when their parents started dating.
Despite the relationship, Scarlett and Tayo fell in love and tied the knot on the Greek island of Mykonos in September last year.
They recently shared their exciting pregnancy news with a sweet Instagram video showing the moment they received a positive test.
The couple also shared ultrasound images of their baby’s heartbeat.

Scarlet told me news.com.au that, despite some criticism of their relationship, it “doesn’t affect us.”
“I don’t really read our comments section, but when I do it really makes me laugh. We find trolls very entertaining,” she said.
“If something is really negative we can comment on that, we think it’s a pretty good disarming tactic.”
Scarlet looked stunning when she married her stepbrother last year. She wore a beautiful white boho-inspired BERTA dress and her hair was styled up and later down in loose curls with a diamond headpiece.
But the couple’s big day also left fans shivering after a video of them and Tayo exchanging vows was shared on Instagram.

In the footage, Tayo asks his new wife to rate his kiss an ‘out of 10’.
“Okay,” Scarlet says in a baby voice. “You may kiss the bride.”
The pair lean in for a sweet kiss before Scarlet speaks in the same squeaky voice again.
“Oh my god… A thousand!” she answers.
“Only a thousand?” her husband asks before answering, “A billion trillion out of 10!”
The pair then put on a daring display for their guests, as Tayo performed a strip-style dance for his wife, which ended with her being pinned to the ground.
Fans took to the comments section to poke fun at the awkward video and the voice Scarlet used in the video.
“Cringe,” another simply added, while one commented: “Power fighters. I predict a divorce within two years.’
‘Serious question. Does she really talk and laugh like that in real life or is it just for the camera? If I had to listen to that as her friend I would cringe,” someone else added.
Another clip showed the newlyweds dancing up a storm to Psy’s hit K-Pop song Gangnam Style.
Scarlet starred in Neighbors from 2017 to 2018. She has since become a successful OnlyFans model.
