A New York City McDonald's has started mapping customers at the door and forbidding everyone under the age of 20 of entry to combat crime.

The franchise of the Fast-Food Colos, established in Brooklyn, took the drastic move this week, after children who wore ski masks wore a guard and broke a glass door.

Amber Bussain, 19, is the manager of the restaurant on Nostrand and Flatbush Avenue and told the New York Post that she had to make the change after the incident.

She said: “It was a crazy scene,” reminiscent that she works there every day, about 15 to 20 teenagers 'the store waste'.

This includes throwing ice to customers, stealing bags with food stores and even smoking weed.

Police information shows that more than 100 calls have been made to 911 from inside and for the establishment every year during the past three years, making 111 in 2024.

Sania Bolasingh grew up in the neighborhood and told the post: 'If you come from that area, you know that McDonald's is terrible.

'People fight there, it's not just children who are children. People are stabbed, a delivery person has jumped, he fainted. '

In it she put the camera around to show what she described as a 'peaceful' McDonald's.

Then she approached the door to show the guard who held the door, who had a plate.

It said: “No one under the age of 20 is allowed in this restaurant without a parent and correct identification.”

Several young people could be seen outside the establishment, now unable to enter, unless with an adult.

After she had shared her clip, social media users applauded the actions of the employees and said they would welcome the ID expansion of other chains.

One person said: 'They need it [to] Put this in more branches'.

Another posted: 'This also locally. Those children who always fight there. '

Another added: “We definitely need this in shopping centers”, with another saying: “I need this at all McDonald's.”

In September 2011, an 18-year-old in the head was shot in a broad light when he entered the franchise.

Subsequently, a manager attacked a 24-year-old woman in 2012 who tried to order after an argument about eating, according to the post.

The Big Apple has no shortage of horrible episodes in McDonald's, with an ax-swinging man who also saw threatening customers in Manhattan in 2022.

Michael Palacios showed images of the frenzy that threaten customers while they wave the ax, breaking the windows of glass and intimidating spectators, after a verbal disagreement that quickly became physical.
