Read the disturbing text messages a cop sent his girlfriend: ‘I hope you crash and die’
A police officer allegedly told his girlfriend, “I hope you get raped” and “I hope you crash and die” in a series of disturbing text messages, court documents show.
Senior Constable Jordan Leigh Weston, 29, of the NSW Police Public Transport Command, was charged with multiple domestic violence offenses in May.
Weston, who has been suspended from the force without pay, is alleged to have committed the crimes against the 34-year-old woman between 2021 and 2023.
Court documents, first obtained by news.com.auhave revealed a barrage of verbal abuse Weston directed at his former partner.
Weston, who lives in Parramatta, in Sydney’s west, wrote “I hope you get raped” in a May 2021 post. He also called her a “w***e” and a “feminist f*** **gs’. **T’.
On May 17 that year, Weston wrote, “I hope you get killed on the way to work” and “I hope you crash and die,” the set of agreed facts outlined.
The text was among sixty offensive messages that were said to have been sent that day between 4:55 a.m. and 6:10 p.m.
Most of the messages were sent while he was at work at Liverpool police station, in Sydney’s south-west.

The court documents also detail alleged incidents of physical abuse during the couple’s on-and-off relationship.
Weston allegedly pushed his girlfriend against a wall after returning home from work on the day he sent the barrage of text messages.
He then allegedly pushed the woman into a lounge, hit the woman in the head and cursed at her, according to court documents.
‘After the [alleged] “The perpetrator calmed down, demanded the password to the victim’s phone and searched its contents for several hours, continuing into the early hours of the morning,” court documents said.
The court documents also claim Weston ‘became jealous’ after seeing an old text from an ex-partner on the woman’s phone in which he bombarded her with messages.
He is also alleged to have followed the woman in his car after the pair argued while on holiday in Huskisson, on the NSW south coast, in 2023.
The alleged incident forced her to flee to a nearby park out of fear. The couple last split in June 2023.
Court documents also show that one day the same month, Weston waited in his car near the woman’s home before knocking on the door after she returned from work.

He said he wanted to confirm if their relationship was officially over.
‘The [alleged] The perpetrator had previously told her that when they broke up, he would park at her house to be close to her. This scared her,” the court documents said.
The woman was forced to change the locks on her home after the incident because she feared Weston might have copied her keys.
She told Weston that she would call the police if he continued to show up at her home.
NSW Police are said to have discovered after an internal investigation that Weston used the police system to look up details about his former partner and her family.
He also allegedly sought out details about her ex-husband and some other men she had dated before him.
On August 27, 2023, Weston allegedly called the woman 60 times after discovering she had taken screenshots of text messages he had previously sent her.
‘The [alleged] The perpetrator told her he would “sink,” “bury” and “destroy” her, among other things, according to court documents.
He allegedly told the woman that she would be ‘screwed’ if she tried to report his behavior to the police, because as a police officer he knew how the system works.
The barrage of alleged text messages were sent between 4.55am and 6.10pm on May 17, 2021, with most of the alleged text messages sent while Weston was working at Liverpool Police Station (pictured)
The woman did not report the alleged incidents to police, but made a statement in January this year after officers approached her in late 2023.
Weston faces several charges, including two counts of common assault, three counts of stalking or intimidation and using a carriage service to threaten, harass or offend.
A court hearing scheduled to take place in early November was canceled in October and Weston’s case has been postponed until February 10, 2025.
The case was adjourned due to a section 14 application or judgment, which allows a court to dismiss a charge without a guilty verdict if a person is found to have mental health problems.
His lawyer has reportedly indicated that guilty pleas will be entered if the section 14 application fails.
