And now 20-year-old Destiny Harold, also known as the ‘Chip Shop Diva’, has landed a huge modeling job.

The blonde stunner, from Worcestershire, has worked at Merchants Fish and Chips since she was 16, but it was only recently that Destiny shot to fame overnight on social media for her glamorous looks and casual way of serving foodies.

The diner started TikTok went on a journey last year and initially focused on food-related content, until Destiny stepped in and was featured in a video in October 2024.

Just ten days later, the video of the young woman working had been viewed almost 28 million times.

The frying diva has gone viral For several reasons, including her friendly personality, as well as her ”hmmm” at the end of each clip.

Even though the interactions are scripted and Destiny role-plays with social media guy Mitch, the videos feel spontaneous and authentic.

Each clip typically begins with the customer asking, “Hello, can I…” before ordering, for example, a large haddock meal.

After serving the delectable dish, the frying diva asks, “Do you want salt and vinegar?” with the answer always being “Lots of salt and lots of vinegar”.

In another video, the food lover is seen approaching the counter and saying, “Hi, can I order…” before glamor Destiny interrupts.

She says, “Oh no, not you again. Oh, haven’t you had enough yet? fish and chips yet?

He replies, “Guess what I’m back for today?”

Frying diva continues: “Fish and chips?”

The boy then says, “Yes please, can I have some fish and chips If that’s okay, please?”

As she prepares his order, she adds, “I’m not even going to ask if you’re having a good day.”

“I know what the answer will be.”

She continues, “Let me guess, lots of salt, lots of vinegar.”

He replies, “Yes, you get it, lots of salt, lots of vinegar. Perfect, perfect.”

In a series of content created with the charming diva, the partnership gives followers exclusive behind-the-scenes access to Merchant’s Fish & Chips and Rimmel’s products.

Looks like the chip shop is about to get a little more glam!

Thanks to the incredible success, the young woman has started posting on her own personal TikTok page, where she has been posting a long awaited hair clip tutorial – which has amassed 2 million views.

Now with the Rimmel collaboration here, it looks like Destiny is on track to become one of the most exciting social media personalities in the coming year.
