The former director of a prestigious Melbourne school that was imprisoned for raping two of its students has reportedly received a special treatment behind bars.
Malka Leifer, 58, ran the Adass Israel School in Elsternwick, which focuses on the ultra -orthodox Jewish community of the city, but fled back to Israel in 2008 after the allegations arose against her first.
After a long -term process to hand it out to Australia to stand, she was imprisoned for 15 years in 2023 for the rape and indecent attack of Melbourne Sisters Dassi Erlich and Elly Sapper.
A former prisoner of the maximum security lady Phyllis Frost Center, in the suburb of Melbourne of Deer Park, has now claimed that Leifer receives benefits that other prisoners do not receive while being kept in the protection unit.
“Malka has a microwave in her room, cooking equipment, gets special orders every Thursday,” she said news.com.au. ‘She wanted an air foil and had members of the Jewish community write about it. She gets what she wants. ‘
The former prisoner also said that she can make Challah, a special bread that is often baked for the Jewish Sabbath that is observed every Saturday.
One of her victims, Elly Sapper, was shocked to hear from the benefits that Leifer received.
‘To hear that she is doing this, brings so much way back from the way she acted in court, which was no regret and arrogance. It brings this anger to the fore again. It’s shocking, “she said.

Sister Elly Sapper, Nicole Meyer and Dassi Erlich are seen statements about the impact of Malka Leifer’s offensive outside Victoria’s County Court in June 2023

Malka Leifer (depicted on the right) has sexually abused two students at an ultra -orthodox Jewish school in Melbourne. She was sentenced to 15 years behind bars in 2023
According to the former prisoner, Leifer is not from other prisoners because of her arrogance.
She previously claimed that Leifer had a relationship with Conwoman Samantha Azzopardi, 36, who was imprisoned for fraudulent claiming with a compensation by posing as a 17-year-old with sex trade from Belgium, known as Hattie Leigh.
She claimed that the couple would write notes and often spent time in a washing area where there is no CCTV.
Leifer focused on the sisters between 2004 and 2007 when they were students and later in their first year as student teachers.
The offensive took place while the director was between 37 and 41 years old, while Mrs. Erlich was between 16 and 19 and Mrs. Sapper at 17 and 18 years old.
The sisters welcomed the sentence earlier, but said it would never be enough.
“The ruling of 15 years acknowledges the damage and pain that Malka Leifer caused us to suffer for so many years,” said Mrs. Sapper.
“Although there will be no amount of years enough, we have been relieved that Malka Leifer has been in prison for 15 years now and no one else can prey.”

The sisters have been campaigning for years to bring Leifer to court and Mrs. Erlich said it was because they had not given up that they were successful.
“Although we know that the responsibility of fighting for justice should not be to survivors, this fight was never alone for us,” she said.
