The most crime stations in Great Britain can be mentioned today and ashamed-and they are probably not where you think.
MailOnline analysis found a small station deep in the Wales countryside at the top of the table.
Johnston, a non -affected stop in the village of Pembrokeshire of the same name, saw 10 crimes in 2024, according to the figures of British Transport Police (BTP).
Four of these were violent crimes, including fist battles and stitches.
Although hardly any crimes were committed at Johnston, it registered the highest percentage of the UK – 1,440 per million passengers – because of the low footstep.
Only 7,000 passengers used the station in 2024, the equivalent of 19 a day.

The analysis of MailOnline, in which all approximately 2,580 terminals are involved in Great Britain, will be a record high last year as a crime at the transport network.
Almost 80,000 offenses were admitted by the BTP in 2023/24.
Violent crimes and sex offenses have both risen to all time, doubled in the last ten years.
In general, levels are 55 percent higher than a decade earlier.
In a case that exposed how Rife Crime is at British train stations, a gang of teenage girls were filmed attacking train staff, passengers and police in a Drinking Rampage at Barnham station, West Sussex.
The five girls, the youngest of whom was 13, were spared prison, despite throwing bumps, heads and tearing away the hair of victims.
A girl held a lump of her from the head of a track passenger like a trophy during the hourly Melee, a court heard.
All five could get involved and attack on train staff, police and members of the public. The judge said they would have been imprisoned if they had been old enough.

With raw numbers of crimes, London St Pancras International was at the top of the charts (1,616) of our analysis.
Only 38.5 million passengers use the stop every year, according to figures from the Office for Road and Rail (OFRR).
After Johnston was the second most dangerous station Redbridge, on the outskirts of Southampton (1,180 crimes per million passengers).
Redbridge, operated by South Western Railway, saw 38 crimes last year, against the number of passengers of more than 32,000.
The plural (13) of crimes were vehicle -related, probably burglaries of cars and vans in the parking garage with four rooms.
Small stations dominate the top of our table.
Tiverton Parkway-On the busy Bristol to Exeter Line in mid-devon-Is the first large station on our list, fourth place.
In 2024, 484 crimes were reported against the 581,000 footstep, which resulted in a speed of 830 per million passengers.
Almost half of these reports (219) were theft. Another 84 were shoplifting, presumably from the shops and cafés on the platforms.

Technically, Ince and Elton Station in Cheshire saw the highest percentage of 11,600 crimes per million passengers – but it saw only one violation committed.
It served 86 passengers on an extremely limited 'parliamentary service', which means that only one crime greatly increases the rate.
That is why we have not calculated any crime figures for stations that had fewer than five crimes and fewer than 10,000 passengers.
Stations with more than five crimes and less than 10,000 footstep, or vice versa, are included in the ranking.
We calculated the footstep by adding the entries, outputs and exchanges at a station, as reported by the Ofrr.
It comes after the 19-year-old mother Stephanie Marie was put to death for commuters by her friend Jason Flore, 26, after an angry confrontation at Crawley Station, West Sussex, last August.
Chilling CCTV caught the murderer, who crashed a 20 cm knife into the heart of his child's mother, casually walked his dog a little later.
Within 45 minutes between the murder and the arrest, Flore removed crucial evidence, including his bloody training bases.

Dorothy Chiles – who was a mother, grandmother and great -grandmother – died after the attack at Birmingham New Street train station
And last November, a 'lively and outgoing' grandmother 'meaningless' was attacked on Birmingham New Street Station, one of the busiest transport hubs in the country.
Dorothy Chiles, 87, died at home six weeks later, only two days after Christmas, after having had a broken hip and being dismissed from the hospital.
The police said last week that a woman in the twenties was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
A BTP spokesperson said: 'Every violation is one too many, and although we understand that we have recorded more total crimes last year, it is important to understand these figures in their context. The chance of falling victim of crime on the railway remains extremely low and reports of high damage crime such as theft and violence remain low in 2.2 incidents per million passenger travel.
'It is crucial that we know that these figures are partially influenced by more and more people who have the confidence to report things like sexual harassment to us, and by the abundance of daily information guided proactive operations that take place in front of the rail network in England, Scotland and Wales. In just one week in November our provincial lines of Taskforce 65 people and handles 42 weapons arrested through proactive implementations, and stopping and searching is highest in BTP since 2010, with a 50% positive rate rate in the last nine months.
'It is also important not to sensational data on crime. Stations such as Johnston seem to have a high crime percentage because they have registered a low number of crimes in combination with a low footstep of passengers, but with less than one crime per month it is simply incorrect to say that passengers are at a greater risk of crime at Crime these stations.
