It was meant as the journey of your life for the British diver than White.

But he now looks back in horror after his dream dive turned into a hellish nightmare when he saw a white tip shark sinking his teeth in the leg of a fellow diver.

And although the horrific incident took place seven years ago, the blood -curdling moment continues to be ingrained in the memory of Dan.

In 2018, and his partner Shaunie Thomas completed a deep diverse certification on the brother islands off the coast of Egypt.

The couple was only under water five meters deep when a shark saw his diving group swim.

Intrigued by the sea animal, he decided to start filming with his GoPro while the animal had interaction with other divers.

The shark seemed harmless in the beginning and swim above the divers, but it soon found its way to a male member of the group.

But as the video of Dan shows, things got worse when the shark started to act strangely, with images that recorded how the shark circled the diver and tried to bite his flippers.

The shark then swam away when the diver kicked him off, but the beast then joined another man and tore furiously in his leg with his pointed teeth, making the crystal blue water red with blood while tore part of his calf.

It appeared on the documentary entitled Why Sharks Attack in 2023, then the horrible moment described: 'He bit the crime bone, got stuck and finally finished and finished, almost like a cartwheel.

“It was crazy, it would not let go for what felt forever and it ended to tear off his calf muscle in his leg.”

“There was a big compliment blood in the water … Another diver started to scream. You could hear her scream. It was horrible to listen to, “then remembered.

The man struggled with the beast while it gnawed at his limbs, but succeeded in a wonderful way to free himself from the razor -sharp jaws of the being.

Despite the fact that they are under water for several meters, the man's spooky scream can be heard in the clip.

The victim was eventually pulled out of the water and received first first aid on the submarine and taken to the hospital where his leg was saved.

Dan's harrowing encounter with the bloodthirsty marine animal is just an example in a flurry of vicious shark attacks over the years.

Last week a Canadian tourist had shocked both hands by a shark after she started taking a dip in the sea.

The 55-year-old woman had been on holiday earlier this month on the Caribbean island of Turks and Caicos, when the predator, which was supposed to be a seven-foot bullshark, launched his vicious attack.

Allegedly the shark bumped into the legs of the helpless woman before he circled around her and biting her thigh.

But when the woman put her hands in front of her to protect herself, the shark bit both hands off her hands, one in the middle of the forearm and the other by the wrist.

The woman's horrible husband would have rushed to help her, place herself between his wife and the shark and succeeds in struggling the beast and removing it from her until she walked out of the water and collapsed on the beach . '

Moving photos show how a crowd then gathered around the wounded woman after she had returned to the beach, with cloths held on her arms while apparently tried to stop the bleeding.

The seriously injured victim received first aid on the beach before paramedics brought her to a local hospital for treatment.

The victim sustained life -changing injuries and lost both hands, with one allegedly amputated by the wrist and the other part in her forearm, but her wounded leg would have been saved.

She was later flown back to Canada by Air ambulance for further operation and recovery.

Police and environmental officials confirmed the attack that took place in the waters of Thompson's Cove Beach in Central Providenciales around 10.30 am on Friday 7 February.

Shark Bites in the waters of the Turks and the Caicos Islands are relatively rare, with only one non-laid out attack that was reported last year that was non-Fatal, according to the International Shark Attack File (ISAF) of Florida Museum of Natural History (ISAF).

The habitat around the islands is the home of several types of sharks, including gray reef sharks, nurse sharks, tiger sharks, bull sharks and hammer sharks.

The ISAF said this week in a statement that '2024 was an exceptionally quiet year for shark bites.

Last year there were 69 reported unspainted shark attacks on people worldwide, above the five-year average. It was confirmed that fourteen were fatal.

The US registered the most, with 36 cases.

Swimmers and waders worldwide make up 43 percent of the victims, while Paddle Boarders and other boarders formed 35 percent of the cases in 2022.

Elsewhere in the Caribbean last week, two American tourists were injured after they were drawn in a reported shark attack.

Both women swims from Bimi Bay in the Bahamas when they were attacked, whereby someone reportedly suffered serious injuries.

The two travelers had to be flown to the nearby island of New Providence to receive advanced medical care.

The Bahamas have registered dozens of attacks over the years.

If a person encounters a shark in the water, experts recommend staying still and not swimming away.

When the shark attacks, experts recommend hit the shark with all their power, because of their sensitivity. In most cases, experts say, that will chase the shark away.

They also advise that if a shark around someone in the water circles around and does not seem to be of immediate threat, she is the most important to stay quiet and vigilant until it swims away.
