Former England U20 ACE and graduated Everton Academy Ryan Ledson has been released by Preston North End.

Ledson, who is dating Crowning street star Lucy FallonDeepdale leaves after seven years after the expiry of his contract.

The 27-year-old midfielder came to Preston in 2018, after having spent time in Cambridge United and Oxford United after his graduation EvertonAcademy.

And now he will be looking for the next step in his career after he has been admitted to the preserved list of Preston’s 2025 as an “out of contract and released” player.

It is no surprise for Preston fans, who were informed of Ledsons, who was up to date earlier this week.

In a statement, the star born in Liverpool said: “I had the best seven years I could have asked. This club means so much to me.
