A hero -Yoga teacher has unveiled her desperate attempts to save children from the Southport attacker, despite the fact that they themselves five times.
The public speaking for the first time since the massacre that Leanne described to help young girls to flee to safety and call 999 while child murderer Axel Rudakubana chased them behind them.
Mrs Lucas had supervised a dance class with a fast theme in July last year when Rudakubana stormed the studio with a kitchen knife, swinging and stabbed to everyone on his path.
Reminding the moments after the murderer entered the building, Lucas told BBC Panorama: “I just knew that if I didn't get out, everyone would die.”
A 13-year-old helps to run the class, who calls the broadcaster Sarah, the program also told that the knives looked 'possessed' while he stabbed her.
The couple are the first survivors to escape the attacker to speak publicly.
Ten people were injured and three children were killed during the attack on July 29, 2024.
Sarah – who is now 14 and whose identity is protected by a judicial order – was seriously injured, but managed to bring various other children, including her younger sister, to safety.

Sitting next to her parents, she revealed how another 'incredible' girl, who seemed to be only about 10 years old, tried to keep other children calm by reassuring them: 'Don't worry, your parents will be here, all Is goes well. '
The two survivors of the attack told how they helped others to escape the frightening violence and how neighbors had rushed to help them.
They also revealed how wrong information spread after the attack, including messages on social media that blame Leanne for the dead.
Leanne and Sarah both expressed shock about how the authorities had missed warning signals about the attacker.
“It's so shocking how much evidence they had on him, how he slipped through the net,” said Leanne.
“At the same time you see the best and the worst,” said Sarah, who described that “the bad side of people” saw in Rudakubana's violence and “all the good of all the community that also comes together to help everyone.”
