Linda Reynolds has demanded an apology from Minister of Finance Katy Gallagher for the “damage requested in her life by the Saga of Brittany Higgins.
Senator Reynolds, who is retiring in the coming elections, used her last senate estimates to accuse Senator Gallagher of abuse of parliamentary privileges with her questions about the alleged mistreatment of Mrs. Higgins in the Parliament House in March 2019.
“Do you want to apologize now, not just for me, but for my staff and my family for all the damage caused to them by you and others in the Labor Party?” Senator Reynolds early.
Senator Gallagher told the former Defense Minister that she was 'sorry that you were injured by all this' but it said that her questions were 'reasonable'.
“I went back and looked at the questions I asked, and I believe that the questions I asked you when you were a minister and was responsible for what happened in your office,” she added .
“I consider these things deep.”
While she was talking, Senator Reynolds repeated twice: “That's a no.”
“That's not no,” Senator Gallagher replied.

'You were a minister, you were responsible for what happened in your office and we asked questions about an alleged sexual attack in this building.
“And I would believe that other senators would ask exactly the same questions in a similar circumstance. But have I tried to damage you or someone else?
'No. I asked questions that I think most people would expect to have been asked with such serious accusations about what happened in this building. '
Senator Reynolds was abruptly based on her chair, collected her things and said, “So that's a no.”
“There was no apologies to my staff,” she said.
Senator Gallagher accused her of 'editorial editors'.
Liberal Senator James McGrath then accused the Minister of Labor of Never Explanation to the staff of Senator Reynolds.
“My conscience is clear,” Senator Gallagher replied.
Senator Reynolds is currently waiting for a judgment in a defamation she brought against Mrs. Higgins and her now-man David Sharaz about social media messages that the couple made about her (shown: Mrs. Higgins participates in failed mediation interviews in Perth)
It is the last fall-out of the six-year-old Saga who flooded the worlds of politics, media and rights, has destroyed several careers and costs taxpayers millions.
Last year the Federal Court -Justice Michael Lee discovered that Bruce Lehramnn had raped his former colleague Mrs. Higgins in the Senator Reynolds office after an evening out in March 2019 after he had recorded a defamation against channel 10.
The judgment was found according to the civil standard, which is on the balance sheet of probabilities instead of reasonable doubt.
Lehrmann has always denied the allegations and appeals to the judgment.
Criminal proceedings about the incident in the law ended without findings against Lehrmann after the misconduct of the jury member.
An excited second test was abandoned for fear of mental health of Mrs. Higgins.
Senator Reynolds is currently waiting for a judgment in a defamation that she brought against Mrs. Higgins and her now-man David Sharaz about social media messages that the couple made about her.
