The bus with the Jaguars back to the campus of a road game against Noord -Kennucky is flooded in flames outside Kent, Indiana, more than 90 miles south of Indianapolis.
The fire was first noticed by the bus driver and an IU Indy coach after the vehicle had a mechanical problem.

Hours prior to the explosion lost the Jaguars of Noord-Kentucky 71-67 in Horizon League promotion.
The Jaguars are 9-20 after the loss of Noord-Kentucky, but end the regular season with two home games for the Horizon League tournament.
Iu Indy would need a conference tournament to continue the season in March Madness.
The Jaguars have not made the NCAA tournament since 2003, where they fell as a no. 16 seed and then Kentucky with the best placed.
IU Indy has not won a regular conference championship since 2006.
