Several people were injured in a shooting outside a court in the German city of Bielefeld.
The shocking incident took place outside the Huseyin Akkurt process, which was charged in connection with the murder of the professional boxer Besar Nimani from 2024.
Around 1:30 pm local time, shortly after the end of today's hearing, three shots were fired around 150 meters (490 ft) of the courthouse.
Eyewitnesses told Bild that police officers were shouting outside the courtroom: “Someone shoots outside!”
The news exit also reported that at least two of the family members of the suspect were shot. While one wound suffered from the leg, the other would have been critically injured in their chest.
Until now, one suspected perpetrator has been arrested, while the other has been barricaded itself in a nearby building. A police helicopter is currently circling in the area.
A school in the neighborhood has activated an emergency alarm, forcing teachers and students to Barricade in their classrooms.
The Akkurt process began at the end of January and strict security measures were taken to guarantee the security of all involved. The police of Riot Squad reportedly had to secure the building and the courtroom, and everyone who entered the courtroom had to be thoroughly searched

According to the indictment submitted by the office of the public prosecutor in Bielefeld, two men Besar Nimani shot in an ambush on March 9, 2024 and shot 16 shots for a shop in the pedestrian zone of the city.
Nimani, who died at the age of 38, had parked his car earlier on the day of his death.
He bleed death on the scene of the murder. The motive for the murder is still unknown, although many suspect that it would arrange a score in the criminal world.
Akkurt, now 34, was arrested in July in Brussels, Belgium, has not yet commented on his indictment.
Another suspect in the case, Ayman Dawoud Kirit, would still be fleeing.
Germany has been plagued by a wave of attacks in recent months.

Farhad N., a 24-year-old Afghan asylum seeker, rode a mini-cooper in a crowd of around 1,000 striking unionists.
Gabriele Tilmann, the senior public prosecutor, said that Farhad N. had known during an interrogation to deliberately enter the demonstration. The police said Farhad had an “Islamic orientation”, but was not affiliated with any Islamic groups.

The public prosecutor said he had prayed after he had driven his car in the crowd. A two -year -old child continued to fight for their lives when the car hit a mother who pushed a pram, local media reports.
“The suspect came to Germany in 2016 as a non -counseled minor and was legal here,” Tilmann said.
It was said that he lived in a rented apartment in Munich while he worked like a Detective store. Farhad was born in Kabul in 2001, reports Bild.
A month earlier, a 28-year-old Afghan man was arrested after a knife attack in a park in the German city of Aschaffenburg who killed two people, including a toddler.
