Former Premier League star Tommy Widdrington celebrated Triumph in Wembley while his Aldershot Town Side Spennymoor defeated 3-0 in the FA Trophy final.
Widdrington, 53, said that there was “no more proud person in the stadium” after three goals in the second half of Jack Barham, then Ellison and Josh Barrett saw the victory secure.
The ex-Southampton-Aas recovered from two strokes that at the end of last year members to stand at football and lift the cup with the National League outfit, and won their first trophy since 2008.
Widdrington said to BBC Sport: “There is no more proud person in this stadium, I appreciate the support I have had during my health problems and the people of Aldershot have been incredible.
“To end the year that I had ended with the moment, this final is the best of the teams outside the top four divisions, it is not a thinning to win this.
“I am made up for the boys and Wembley is about winning, if you don’t win, then it must be the worst feeling in the world, the players have their names in the club’s history books, I am very bad.”
Goalscorer Barrett added to the broadcaster that the team would “party hard” and special praise for the manager and the fans would reserve.
He called on the owners to support Widdrington with some money to “make them a League Two team in no time”.
The 26-year-old said: “It’s crazy, I can’t believe these scenes.
“We did not really perform the game plan in the first half, but in the second half we dominated, that finish was one that I knew would come, I always try things and that is who I am.

“The fans earn this, give our manager some money and we will be a League Two team in no time, let’s hope we can get that table back next season.
“I have great fun to be here, the fans have accepted me and we are going to party tonight, hard party!”
Aldershot ended 16th in the National League this season.
In the meantime, Whitstable Town came from behind to beat AFC Whyteleafe 2-1 in the Fa vase earlier.
It was the first time that the trophy of the Southern Counties Side won the trophy, with their previous best run in the competition the fifth round in the 1996-97 season.
