RS logjam continues over VP impeachment bid, Soros issue – Times of India
Both ministers declined INDIA block for filing the notice against Dhankhar and Congress for their alleged links with Soros-backed outfits. Soon after the proceedings began, Rijiju accused the Congress of aligning itself with “anti-India forces” and undermining the dignity of the Speaker. “If you cannot respect the Speaker, you have no right to be a member of this House,” he said. Nadda accused the Congress of acting as an “instrument of external forces”. Demanding a discussion about the alleged connection, he said: “Over the past two days, people have raised the issue: What relationship does the Congress leadership have with Soros?” The opposition announcement against Dhankhar is an attempt to divert attention, he said. Since the members of both benches did not yield, the proceedings had to be adjourned for the day.
