So if the cost of living crisis has left your wallet feeling tighter than ever before, and you can’t afford to splurge on luxury skincare purchases, fear not: Aldi has the solution for you.
The beloved chain just released a series of new buys for the aisle — and it’s a La Mer dupe that’s making shoppers beam.
Lover of beauty Chloe Parry, originally from Britain, was overjoyed when she saw the cheap product in her local store.
Excited by her find, Chloe took to social media to warn others, leaving many open-mouthed.
Post on Extreme Coupons and Bargains UKa closed Facebook group with 2.6 million members, the Aldi shopper shared a get it of her purchase – the La Soie serum.
Chloe was clearly very satisfied with the Lacura Concentrate Serum and beamed: “Today La Mer dupe in Aldi.
“I compared the ingredients and they seem perfect.”
The cheap dermatologically tested serum is enriched with a mix of algae extracts, macadamia and sesame seed oil.
The velvety gel serum helps soothe the complexion and replenish the skin’s moisture barrier.
It’s a dupe for the La Mer concentrate seruman expensive product loved by celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Demi Moore and Kim Kardashian.
But unlike the luxury serum, the Aldi purchase, which comes in a similar green bottle, is much more affordable.
A 30ml bottle of the La Mer product will set you back a staggering £375 – yes, you heard right – an amount that many of us simply couldn’t justify (or afford).
However, at just £6.99 this Specialbuy is a real steal – a whopping £368.01 cheaper than the cult classic product.

I’d rather try to be a bit of a dupe than pay £300+ for something that may have been a complete waste of money for my skin

But at the same time, an eagle-eyed user claimed: “The sea sludge in La Mer is patented, so the ingredients will be different. You will never get the same formula from a cheaper option.”
But about this, Chloe later wrote: “Not all the ingredients may be identical, but if it’s a lower price, wow!
“Not everyone has the same skin type or the same reactions! I have been buying Aldi skincare dupes religiously and have never had a problem and have always had a positive experience with them!
