Bloom Nutrition Greens Review 2024: Is the Trendy Brand Really Worth It?

Health brand Bloom Nutrition has become a viral name on social media. I’ve seen it on mine TikTok “For You” page and on other social media apps owned by influencers and content creators. The company is known for its green powder, which it claims boosts immunity, promotes better digestion and reduces bloating. I tested it to see if it lives up to the hype.

I got two flavors of it Vegetables and superfoods from Bloom Nutrition powder. As someone who already drinks vegetable powder every morning, I’ve experienced the benefits of starting the day with an extra serving of vegetables, plus added vitamins, nutrients, probiotics, antioxidants and adaptogens (herbs that help you respond better to stress) – all the ingredients found in the best leafy greens. Since drinking green powders consistently, I have noticed that I have more energy, and I feel like my gut health has improved as well.

I stopped drinking my regular green powder brand to try the social media famous green powder for a week. Here is my honest Bloom Nutrition greens review.

What are green powders?

From talking refrigerators to iPhones, our experts are here to help you make the world a little less complicated.

Powdered vegetables is a nutritional supplement that helps you get the recommended daily intake of vitamins and minerals from vegetables and superfoods. People often turn to leafy greens as a more convenient way to obtain fruits, leafy greens and other vegetables. In addition, green powders often contain probiotics, nutritional extracts and herbs.

Greens powder is added to 8 to 12 fluid ounces of water, smoothie or other beverages to be consumed. If you don’t like the taste, try masking it with your favorite tea, juice, milk, lemonade, yogurt, or protein shake.

What is Bloom nutrition?

I recommend using an electric mixer to mix your green powder with your favorite drink.

Bloom Nutrition was founded in 2019 by a married couple who wanted to create health supplements with high-quality ingredients that actually taste good. Today, Bloom Nutrition offers a green powder, collagen peptide powder, whey isolate protein, pre-workout, high-energy pre-workout, matcha, mood-boosting vitamins, fish oil supplements and multivitamins.

For this review I only tested Bloom’s Greens & Superfoods blend. The powder supplement is gluten, dairy and soy free. One 5-gram scoop of vegetables contains 15 calories, 3 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 0.6 milligrams of iron and 5 milligrams of sodium. The powder then contains seven different mixtures of different nutrients. There are 1,606 grams of a fiber blend, 1,367 grams of a green superfood blend, 648 milligrams of a pre- and probiotic blend, 572 milligrams of a fruit and vegetable blend, 550 milligrams of an antioxidant blend, 150 milligrams of a digestive enzyme blend, and an adaptogenic blend of 100 milligrams. Depending on the flavor, the greens also contain 57 to 95 milligrams of stevia extract.

What does Bloom cost?

Each flavor costs a container of Bloom Greens & Superfoods for 30 days $40and a 60 day bath with every taste costs $75. That price does not include shipping costs. However, there is free shipping on orders over $50 to anywhere in the US if you order through Bloom’s website, or you may be able to get free shipping at Walmart or through Amazon Prime.

There is also an option to subscribe to Bloom Nutrition and save 10%. If you choose to subscribe, you can have Bloom delivered to your home every 30, 60, or 90 days. You can change, pause or cancel your subscription at any time. Bloom says this option guarantees delivery even during sales and gives you access to exclusive offers and gifts.

Taste and texture

I tried the original and citrus flavors.

The flavored Bloom Greens & Superfoods powder is very sweet. Compared to the original flavor, the citrus flavor is by far the best. I first tried both flavors with just water, and the taste of the original was too earthy for me. The citrus flavor was better, but a little too sweet for my taste. After some trial and error, I discovered that the best way to drink Bloom Greens was to add it to orange juice. (I only have to add water to the vegetable powder I drink every morning to enjoy it.) There’s a lot of stevia extract in one small scoop, and I’m not a fan of the extreme sweetness, so I needed something to to help hide that taste. Whichever Bloom flavor you choose, I recommend mixing it with juice or a smoothie. You will not be able to consume it with just water.

The texture is a bit grainy, but depending on the liquid you use to mix, this is barely noticeable. It’s especially helpful if you have a whisk or small electric mixer to help mix the mixture. However, I discovered that if you don’t drink it within 5 minutes, the green powder will separate and sink to the bottom. I didn’t like that because the powder and flavor became too concentrated towards the end of the drink.

Does Bloom work?

I can’t say for sure if Bloom works. I didn’t see any changes in the bloating (didn’t see any improvements, but didn’t make the symptoms worse either). Although Bloom Nutrition claims to help with bloating and digestion, these claims have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. I only tested the product for a week and there is a chance that if I had tested the product for longer I would have seen more results. I also didn’t take it at the same time every day. For best results, try to drink your green powder around the same time.

That said, Bloom might have the potential to work, but the servings of crucial vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and adaptogens aren’t powerful enough. For example, the best probiotics on the market contain between 100 million and 50 billion colony-forming units. Bloom’s added probiotics do not list CFU at all. In addition, Bloom has a fiber blend of 1,606 grams, but the listed amount of dietary fiber is only 2 grams, which is only 7% of the daily recommended amount.

If you compare Bloom to another popular brand of green powders, AG1the competitor contains 7,388 milligrams of a superfood mixture and 2,732 milligrams of herbal and antioxidant mixture. Both are almost double what can be found in Bloom. Two scoops are equal to one scoop from the competitor. Finally, the nutrition facts on the back of the Bloom Greens & Superfoods container also don’t tell you how much is in each blend.

Where can you buy Bloom Nutrition?

Thanks to its growing popularity, Bloom Nutrition can be purchased through her website, Amazon, Goal or Walmart.

It is also available at your local supermarket, pharmacy or department stores.

Is Bloom really worth it?

Here’s what you need to know before you buy Bloom Greens and Superfoods powder.

Benefits of Bloom Nutrition Greens:

Disadvantages of Bloom Nutrition Greens:

  • Strong artificial taste
  • Lacks powerful pre- and probiotics, vitamins and minerals
  • Cannot replace fresh servings of fruits and vegetables

If you are considering any of Bloom Nutrition’s products, I would first recommend looking at similar products on the market. Chances are there are better alternatives. But compared to the best brands of green powders like – AG1 — Bloom Nutrition is reasonably priced. If you’re just getting into powdered vegetables and looking for a place to start, Bloom might be the option for you.

On the other hand, if you need a nutritional supplement to address nutritional deficiencies in your diet, then this brand of green powder is not for you. Although there is fiber and iron in one serving of Bloom, there is not nearly enough to make a difference for someone who is iron deficient or needs more fiber. There are also not enough added vitamins, nutrients or probiotics. In my opinion, it is better to add an extra portion of vegetables to your daily diet.
