Two of the largest stars of MSNBC are safe for the most important programming revision of the network – despite the fall of ratings.
Morning Joe, organized by former congress member Joe Scarborough and his wife Mika Brezinski, lost almost half of his audience since President Donald Trump won the elections, according to Nieuwe Nielsen figures.
It saw his audience shrink by 40 percent, from 1.1 million before November 5 to only 651,000 viewers between November 6 and last Friday.
But in the midst of the fear of those who can be the next after the dismissal of Joy Reid, Dailymail.com has learned that Scarborough and Brzezinski are two fixtures that don't have to worry.
'Joe and Mika are nowhere to go now categorically. Nothing here. Full stop, “said a spokesperson for MSNBC.
Morning Joe also saw his public members in the Key 25 to 54 age category Krimpen. The demography is of primary interest for advertisers.
Before the 5 November elections, the show was on average 123,000 viewers in the demography. But since then that figure has fallen to only 67,000.
The morning show of Fox News, Fox & Friends, on the other hand, attracted an average of 1.5 million viewers in that time period – an increase of 29 percent compared to January 1 to November 5.

Scarborough and Brzezinski seemed to have trouble getting Momentum because they visited Trump's Mar-a-Lago Resort in the aftermath of his decisive victory, who had to defend the couple when they received a recoil from both conservative and liberal media figures.
“We will all do the best we can do and we all work on a better America,” said Scarborough in the air after Ana Navarro of the vision called them “opportunistically” and asked if they “change”[d] Their stripes' because of 'who is in power'.
Former MSNBC -Gastheer Tiffany Cross also accused them of 'Kissing the Ring' while called on black Americans to boycott the network after the expulsion of Joy Reid.
Cross denied that the resignation of Reid was related to the gloomy assessments of MSNBC.
“Don't believe the hype about the reviews,” she insisted on victory with Black Women Podcast Monday. “Her show went very well.
'Do you know whose reviews are not doing well? Who has never been fired? Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough – they kissed the ring and they are still being raised. '
Instead, Cross – whose own show on the network was canceled after two years – Reid's expulsion to a difference in opinions between Reid and the network managers.
“There are people in dominant positions who do not tell of her opinions and truth,” said Cross, as “when she spoke about what happened in Gaza, alongside many other things.”

A spokesperson for the network has since defended Morning Joe's reviews and tells the New York Post that the Morning Show has seen its total viewer increase compared to the inauguration day with 17 percent – from 587,000 in the period from November 5 to January 20 to 684,000 since Trump was in the office.
In the 25 to 54 -year demographic demography, Morning Joe is on average 24 percent more viewers since the inauguration, from 55,000 before January 20 to 68,000, the spokesperson noted.
They added that Morning Joe also continued to govern a larger audience in February than his liberal rival CNN – the 120th consecutive month it did this, despite the fact that he had hit the morning show of the network in the 25 to 54 demographic demographic in the past two months.
The news comes when the new MSNBC president Rebecca Kutler wants to stabilize the networks of the network.
She announced a series of changes in the programming of MSNBC on Monday, after being forced to confirm the expulsion of Reid to angry employees when the news was leaked to the staff.
Her 7 p.m. Est-Tijdslot is now being replaced by a panel show co-organized by Symone Sanders Townsend, Alicia Menendez and Michael Steele.

MSNBC also works to consolidate temporary employment locations to New York and Washington, DC
Katie Phang, Jonathan Capehart and Ayman Mohyeldin also got the boot from their current time slots as part of the changes.
Capehart and Mohyeldin – currently the hosts of the Saturday/Sunday show with Jonathan Capehart and Ayman – the MAN programs will still have to be called, employees confirmed.
Mohyeldin, who organizes Ayman Mohyeldin reports, will broadcast his last episode on April 20 at 7 pm, a spokesperson confirmed.
Former press secretary Jen Psaki of the White House will now also anchor a primetime night day show, which takes over the current Slot of Alex Wagner.
According to Kutler's Memo, he will stay with the network as a senior political analyst.
At the same time, Rachel Maddow, who is demonstrably the largest star of the network, will return once a week to hosting the 21:00 slot, it added.
Her namesake show returns to Monday at 9 p.m. after the first 100 days of the Trump administration.

Meanwhile, since MSNBC works to consolidate temporary employment locations to New York and Washington, DC, the network is also planning to end the activities in Miami -in a movement that will affect shows such as José DÃaz -Balart reports and the Katie Phang show.
DÃaz-Balart stays at NBC News as an anchor of Weekend Nightly News, notes the staff memo, while Phang will remain as a legal correspondent at MSNBC, after he has been serving as a legal analyst for NBCuniveral since 2017.
“In the coming years we must continue to appear for our audience at this critical moment, while at the same time we position ourselves the best for the future,” wrote Kutler on Monday – adding that she had hoped to share such changes directly with staff and “understand the frustration that you first learned about this at the weekend and not from me.”
But Maddow strived against the changes in her show when she hit Kutler and other network managers for the dismissal of Reid and other 'non-white' anchors.
'I don't want to lose her as a colleague here at MSNBC, and I personally think it's a bad mistake to let her walk out of the door. It is not my call and I understand that. But that's what I think, “said Maddow.
She added: 'I'll tell you. It is also nerve -racking to see that on a network where we have two – they count – two non -white hosts in Primetime, both non -white hosts in Primetime lose their shows, just like Katie Phang at the weekend.
'And that feels worse than bad, regardless of who replaces them. That feels indefinable. And I don't defend it. '
