The woman whose severely decomposed body was found wrapped in plastic and dumped near a bushland creek near Sydney airport has been identified.
Police were called to Sir Joseph Banks Park off Foreshore Road, in Botany, at 7.30am on Monday after a local resident noticed something suspicious in some nearby bushes.
NSW Police have now identified the woman as 33-year-old Zhuojun ‘Sally’ Li, who was reported missing after her mother failed to catch her.
Police are still looking for Ms Li’s husband, Jai-Bao ‘Rex’ Chen, also 33 years old.
Mr Chen is described as looking Asian and between 165cm and 170cm tall, with a slim build, black hair and brown eyes.
Police have also released CCTV footage of a silver Toyota Avensis after the vehicle was stopped on the north side of Foreshore Road on November 30.
The vehicle was captured on CCTV just days before Ms Li’s body was found.
Detectives are calling on anyone who has information about the car or the driver of the car to contact the police.

It comes after homicide squad commander Danny Doherty said the woman’s body may have been there for “weeks, if not months” and was in a “severe” state of decomposition.
“At this stage the theory would be that the person stopped and disposed of the body close to the road,” Chief Inspector Doherty said.
‘The victim was just meters away from the side of the road… a very busy thoroughfare. It is still unknown how long the body was there.
‘This is a very tragic situation. A woman has lost her life and been dumped on the side of the road. There is someone’s loved one who does not yet know that their loved one has not only been murdered, but has most likely been murdered.”
Several items were found at the scene on Monday, including a pair of high heels.
The video also captured a pair of discarded boots, which may or may not have been part of the crime scene.
Investigators have yet to determine how long Ms. Li’s body was left in the area due to the decomposition of the remains.
