Dissatisfied Oklahoma Sooners Basketball Fans smoked on Wednesday to Kentucky's Otega Oweh when the highly appreciated transfer pushed his current team past his former in Norman.
A fan became so furious that they threw what a beer seemed to be at the Owen and the Wildcats while laughing at the crowd on their way to the dressing room after the victory of one point.
The beer did not come close to Oweh, but almost came into contact with Brandon Garrison, a transfer from the state of Oklahoma, who also played a key role in the victory of Kentucky.
In a statement provided to DailyMail.com, the Athletics Department of the University of Oklahoma said Thursday: 'We are aware of an incident that took place after last night's basketball game against Kentucky throwing a drink for players. We carefully assess all available images and work on identifying involved parties. We are also in communication with the SouthEasters Conference.
'The University of Oklahoma has not approved this type of fang behavior in any way and it will not be tolerated. We will take suitable and necessary action against everyone who behaves in such a way. Our apologies to players, coaches and fans of the University of Kentucky. '

Things on the field were not much nicer, as Garrison explained.
“I'm home again, they try to get up under my skin when I get into the game,” Garrison told reporters afterwards. 'It was a bit chippy at the end, but it's just basketball, nothing more, nothing less. There is just a part of that. '
But it was Oweh who pulled the most abuse of Sooners fans – not just at the last moments.
The ex-control guard has made the last statement. He scored a career-high 28 points and banked in an off-balance floater with six seconds for the winner against his former team, while no. 17 Kentucky Oklahoma beat 83-82 on Wednesday evening.
“I have just tried to impose my will in any way,” he said.
Oweh was the second leading scorer in the Oklahoma team with 11.4 points per match last season before switching. This season he had an average team-best 15.7 points per game for Kentucky who went the matchup with the Sooners in the matchup.
He was booed loudly during introductions and during the game. At one point Oklahoma students' sang 'he is a traitor' while Oweh stood by the free sauceput.
He scored Kentucky's last 18 points and apparently fed the energy. Oklahoma -fans even stood out after the game when he walked over the field for a post game interview.
“I mean, it's a great feeling that comes to your old space, win a victory,” he said. “As a basketball player it is just cool to go inside, to have that.”
Oklahoma coach Porter Moser had no answers to his former star. Oweh scored 23 points on 10-out-14 shooting in the second half.

Moser said his Sooners played well and played hard, but it wasn't their night.
“You have to give your hats,” said Moser. “I thought Kentucky, and then I thought Otega, made a number of just absolute huge plays.”
Jalon Moore, who led Oklahoma with 20 points, said there are no hard feelings.
“It was cool to play with Otega,” he said. “It's my brother. I wish him nothing but success. It is good to just come up with it – inside to compete, and that's it. '
Kentucky won the entire season on the road for the third time. Wildcats coach Mark Pope said that this was the kind of test in the late season that his team needed. And now he knows that he has a player who can wear the load under stress.
“I think our boys have been capturing tonight or had an experience that they will call back when we come in, in a very similar game,” he said. “And so I love it. I think it's great that we are in our pocket. '
