This morning Show fellow Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson started today in tears about what the boss of the show Martin Frizzell was before he stopped taking care of his Alzheimer-hit woman Fiona Phillips.
Frizzell, who had oversee the production of the show over the past decade, was asked to connect both Hammond and Gibson to the couch at the end of the show.
In a moving segment the co-presenters Frizzell told how much he meant for them and how much they appreciated his impact on their career.
An emotional Hammond said: “He is the one who brought us a chance and transformed the career of mine and Josie.
“It's an incredible opportunity and we just want to thank a lot. We love you '.
This morning's presenter continued: “On behalf of the team of this morning we think you are incredible and we are so sad to see you going.”
Gibson repeated Hammond's words and added that Frizzell believed in her when she didn't even believe in herself.
“I just want to say, thank you very much because you believed in me when I didn't even believe in myself and you grew me as a presenter and I just can't thank you enough.”

Responding to the friendly words of the couple, Frizzell replied: “If you were nonsense, you wouldn't be on television,” Martin replied. 'You are very good. It was a great ride and a fantastic time '.
His departure from the production team of the show was previously announced during the broadcast by Gibson and found out last November in his own announcement that he would soon resign for personal reasons.
Frizzell's wife Fiona Phillips had received a heartbreaking Alzheimer's diagnosis in 2022, where the boss of this morning made the decision to leave the show to spend more time with her.
“Next year I expect my family priorities to change, so I have to free up time for them,” said the 66-year-old in November.
'I love my team this morning and will miss them and the sensation of live television, but it is always an obligation 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and I will not be able to do both.
'It was a privilege to lead really great presenters and producers, between us we have turned out to be more than six thousand hours of live current television, which is around 20,000 items.
'Although the gongs are always nice, I am most proud of the change that we have made in so many lives, and even saving a few with our campaigns about anti-suicide, menopause, test bars and' How-to 'items. This Juggernaut is the most difficult test for every temporary journalist '.
As a farewell tribute, Frizzell also received control of the Friday jukebox from the show. His song selection by Shania Twain's Hit 'Man from 1997! I feel like a woman! 'Played in the background, to the great approval of the fellow guests of the show.
