Power is the Galaxy S25 edge tipped to use the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset as its stablemates. What will be interesting here is whether the slim chassis influences performance, because less thickness means less space for heat to disappear when a chip is pushed.
But I suspect that Samsung may have done some smart things with cooling and vapor rooms to ensure that the Snapdragon chip does not melt in a silicon sweat.
The Lowdown
So what is the Lowdown with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge then? Good in simple terms, the phone is a closed version of the Galaxy S25.
The size seems to be between the Base Galaxy S25 and the Plus model. Although the most important concession in slenderness seems to be removing a camera on the back, which means that the edge has two rear snappers. The good news here is that the main camera is being tipped to have a 200 megapixel sensor.
Unusual for Samsung, this unpacked takes place much later in the day than normal. Perhaps this is the showcase that is expected to be small and short.
In the end we only expect the Galaxy S25 Edge With this unpacked and nothing more. So that could explain why Samsung does not make this event that is in a reasonable time for most of its most important markets.
