NSW Police Minister Yasmin Catley has revealed that her brother has been accused of a series of drug offenses after officers searched his car.
Mrs. Catley said her brother was accused after his vehicle had stopped in Newcastle, 170 km northeast of Sydney, around 10.30 pm on Friday.
A subsequent search revealed a quantity of cash, 8.06 g of methylamfetamine and cannabis that were seized for forensic examination.
The man was arrested and taken to the Warataah police station, where he was accused of the stock of forbidden drugs and three counts of possession of forbidden drugs.
He received conditional bail and appears on 11 March in Newcastle Local Curt.
