Australia will be with Ukraine, after a public row between the leader of the country who was invaded by Russia three years ago and US President Donald Trump.

Images of the amazing quarrel during a meeting in the Oval Office in the White House, including President Volodymyr Zenskyy, Mr. Trump and Vice President JD Vance, are shining worldwide.

“We are at Ukraine,” said Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Saturday, just a few hours after the fair was over and Mr. Zenskyy was told to leave.

“The people of Ukraine are not just fighting for their own national sovereignty – they are fighting for the international rule of law,” said Mr Albanese in Sydney.

“We will remain with Ukraine for so long, because this is the struggle of a democratic nation versus an authoritarian regime led by Vladimir Putin who clearly has imperialist designs, not only on Ukraine, but in that region.”

Mr. Albanese did not comment on the stock markets in the Oval Office or the behavior of Mr. Trump and only said that Australia's foreign policy was determined by Australia.

“Russia has worn like a bully,” he said.

The comments of Mr. Albanese echoed those of the leaders of Germany, France and the European Union.

'You are not in a good position. You don't have the cards now. At us you start getting your cards, “said Mr. Trump.

“I don't play cards. I am very serious, my president, “said Zenskyy.

Flinders University Senior teacher in international relations Jessica Genauer said that the 'very shocking' interaction suggested that the Trump government did not consider Ukraine as an equal player.

“They really see Ukraine as a small or middle power country, which does not have to be considered or should be taken into account in the same way as they clearly take Russia into account,” she told ABC television on Saturday.
