The mother of missing student Jack O'Sullivan has said 'Every day is a living hell' as his desperate family a year since he disappeared after a house party.
The 23-year-old has been no longer since 2 March last year when he attended a house in Bristol with some friends, but never came home.
The last known activity of his phone was after 6 a.m. near Cumberland Basin and Hotwells, and since then there has been no activity on his bank account.
Jack texted his mother for 1.52 hours to say that he was safe and planned to get a taxi and left the party an hour later, without saying goodbye to his friend who had a cigarette outside.
His mother Catherine O'Sullivan said earlier that she will be contacted 'every day', she receives information from people – including clairvoyants – about where to look for the Bristol student.
But she sent her frustration about the police because she accused them that she does not follow up any possible observations from her son.
Now she spoke on the birthday of his disappearance to say that the family is still 'stuck on March 2, 2024' – the day he disappeared.
She said to the mirror: 'We have no evidence that Jack is no longer with us and no information to say where he is. I'm stuck on March 2, 2024. It's hard to explain how we feel. The world stops – and it only gets more painful, no less. '

'In my heart I have to believe that we will find him. I don't know what mother would write off their child without evidence to prove it. I don't give up yet. '
Last month the police called her to say that a body had been collected on a beach in South Wales.
Catherine said: “We really thought it was Jack” because the description fit so well.
It took six days to get a confirmation that it wasn't. “That was the worst six days of our lives.”

When a random partygoer joked that he had too much to drink, Jack pushed him into a short collision, but this did not go any further.
His family said the police told them that they were unable to help his phone data analyze, but they eventually convinced to release because of data protection legislation.
The police said that since the disappearance of Jack, more than 20 different teams and departments have been involved in the investigation.
Last year it said that more than 100 hours of CCTV were assessed, 200 hours of searches on the river and the surrounding banks, set up police search assignments from the center of Bristol to Flax Bourton, 40 countries search assignments and 16 drone implementations.

Assistant -Head Commissioner for Avon and Somerset Police Joanne Hall said: 'Do you remember what you did that cold, snowy day in March 2024?
'You may remember that you saw something that seemed unimportant at first sight, but perhaps an important piece of information is that we can know. You remember that you saw something on your journey, whether you were walking in the area or traveling on the roads.
'Our research has been expanded, with resources that are used from more than 30 different teams and organizations, including support from colleagues within the fire brigade, HM Coastguard and the National Police Air Service (NPAs).
'This includes the search for independent advice, support and guidance of experts from the National Crime Agency, an experienced police search adviser of a neighboring strength and an independent oceanograph.
'We kept an open mind during this research and regularly assess our various hypotheses around the disappearance of Jack. We ask you again to please, wake your mind back last year and to think about details that can help us. '
