Samsung Has the Samsung Galaxy S25 EdgeThe new thin and light version of his flagship Galaxy S25 -Smartphone.
If our hands-on Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Review Details, we have a grip on this exciting new handset, months after it was first plagued on the January 2025 Samsung Galaxy unpacked event.
However, the unveiling of the Galaxy S25 Edge is only one side of the story – in addition to the new phone, Samsung revealed the new Galaxy Club, which, despite its name, is not exclusive, but rather a new way to pay for Galaxy Handsets.
The new Galaxy Club offer varies depending on whether you are in the US or the UK. At the time of writing I see no equivalent offer available in Australia.
New Galaxy Club: American version
In the US, the new Galaxy Club has been charged a subscription costs in addition to the full or financed price of the telephone. This subscription includes Samsung Care+ Protection and the option to get up to 50% of the price of your phone as a credit if you choose to upgrade after 12 successful monthly payments.
The subscription costs $ 6.20 per month for the Galaxy S25and $ 8.33 per month for the Galaxy S25 Plus, Galaxy S25 UltraAnd new Galaxy S25 Edge. It is not available on other models.
If you choose to upgrade after 12 months before, Samsung offers a form of credit based on how you paid for the phone. If you have paid for your phone with Samsung financing, Samsung will pay off the remaining balance without credit for your next phone. If you have paid fully or through payment in 4 episodes, Samsung offers you trade -in credit worth 50% of your original device.
It is worth noting that your Samsung Care+ package for the full price will take place after the 12 -month period is over. When paying, this plan is mentioned as inclusive theft and loss coverage, but the general terms and conditions for the new Galaxy Club suggest theft and loss coverage not Included – We have contacted Samsung to clean up this.
New Galaxy Club: UK -version
In the UK, the new Galaxy Club has a completely different structure, which rolls the financing of a new phone with the possibility to save on an upgrade to one package.
The British version of the scheme offers a 24 -month loan without interest, with a deposit of 10% in the front and the rest in monthly installments. Between 12 and 15 months after the start of the loan, customers can choose to upgrade to a new Galaxy-Handset, with at least 50% of the price of the original device that is returned as a combination of loan settlement and trade-in credit.
If you are the type of person who can upgrat their Samsung Galaxy telephone every year, these programs can be of any advantage – keep in mind that the offer is not a conventional subscription in the US, and the British version is a loan that you can repay. Read the general terms and conditions carefully before registering.
Is the new Galaxy Club worth registering?
The new Galaxy Club program was actually launched softly on May 6, but Samsung apparently saved its big push to coincide with the launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge.
Not all responses have been positive – as a criticism of Android Police And irritated redditors suggests that these plans may not offer the best value in the long term, especially in view of the fact that Samsung tends to offer excellent trade-offs and promotions when a new Galaxy telephone releases.
ASH 9to5Google Comments, there is still some value for users who may want to pay monthly for a telephone and would usually jump for Samsung Care+ coverage.
Personally, I think that every user should carefully consider his needs before he counts himself in the new Galaxy Club, with my greatest concern that it can make it harder or more expensive to switch to another brand of telephone in the future.
Still, if you are a diehard fan of the Best Samsung -PhonesNew Galaxy Club could be worth considering. Let us know what you will find of this re -launched Samsung schedule in the comments below.
