CNN has categorically rejected a wild conspiracy theory that was fed by Joe Rogan that the network was 'tipped' about the murder attack on the life of Donald Trump.
The Livestream cable news channel A heavily published Trump meeting in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13 when he made an offer for his return to the White House.
While Trump spoke to the crowd, he was shot and barely escaped his life. A bullet grazed his ear, while one bystander was killed and two others were seriously injured.
Rogan, who runs the most successful podcast in the nation with 14 million monthly listeners, shared a new episode on Friday alongside 'First Buddy' Elon Musk in which he speculated about the incident.
“You also know that CNN streamed it live, which I don't believe they did for another rally – and certainly not for a meeting in the middle of nowhere in Pennsylvania,” he said.
“Like, there is a lot of weird s ** t.”
Musk agreed and said, “I totally agree that it makes no sense.”
Those comments later went viral on X, which resulted in theories that CNN was 'tipped' and demands for an investigation into the case.

Rogan, who runs the most successful podcast in the nation with 14 million monthly listeners, shared a new episode on Friday alongside 'First Buddy' Elon Musk in which he speculated about the incident

“You also know that CNN streamed it live, which I don't believe they did for another rally – and certainly not for a rally in the middle of nowhere in Pennsylvania,” Rogan said. 'Like, there is a lot of weird s ** t'
But CNN has now returned and gave a very simple explanation about their decision to stream that specific rally live.
“CNN provided live reporting from President Trump's Butler, PA, collects himself in anticipation of news about his choice of vice -president,” the network said.
“Any suggestion that is contrary to that fact is completely incorrect.”
Billionaire Hedgefonds Manager Bill Ackman shared the Rogan clip and wrote: “What are the chances @cnn is tipped to stream the butler rally?”
“Why is this not worth an investigation? It should not be too difficult to find out who orders the coverage and why. '
Fox News -employee Joe Concha weighed and added: 'This is 100% correct.
'I was about to go in the air to organize the big weekend show together and noticed this on the way inside. CNN will never be broadcast Trump rallies again (they were broadcast a lot for Ratings in 2015-2016). The question is – why this? '
The shooter was later identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20. He was shot by the authorities after he fired several shots on Trump.

Musk agreed and said: 'I totally agree that it makes no sense'

Crooks is depicted by walking the Trump meeting before being opened hours later, killing a participant, seriously injures two others and the right ear of the former President Graast

'On this ground, a cold -blooded murderer aimed to silence me and the greatest movement – Maga – to silence the history of our country. Maga, we love Maga, “he said when he returned.
'During 16 moving seconds during the gunfire time stopped when this vicious monster pure evil unleashed from his sniper of his sniper not that far away.
'But by the hand of the providence and grace of God that villain did not succeed in his goal, not near the stopping of our movement. He did not shook our unyielding determination to save America. '
