Football fans remained stunned when a malfunction on Sky Sports changed the score of the championship-off semi-final between Sunderland and Coventry.
With the score 0-0 (2-1 to Sunderland On aggregated) only 18 minutes after the game, the main image on the screen changed briefly.

Instead, the scoreboard indicated that it was 2-1 Coventry on the night and 3-3 aggregated.
Some fans were quick to pick up the glitch and went to social media to comment.
One person wrote: “someone else did Sky Sports Glitch outside and display the score as 2-1 COV and 3-3 AGG? “
Another noticed: “Someone else sees that score change in the Sunderland-Coventry game on Sky Sports? I thought I hallucinated.”
A third said: “Boys just had Sky Sports the score as Sun 1-2 COV (3-3) and then changed it back to the pre-game score ??? am I bugging ??”
While another joke made: “I thought I had gone crazy, but apparently Sky Sports have spoilers.”
Sunderland had the advantage that he went in the semi-final second leg in the stadium of light thanks to goals from Wilson Isidor and Eliezer Mayenda.
