It can be difficult to split the world’s two best golfers, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy on the track this week – and it is the same story in the gambling market for the USPGA.
Masters champion McIlroy has so far been the most consistent player in the game with three victories, while Scheffler finally opened his account before 2025 by to a five -shot victory in Rasp at the CJ Cup in Dallas.
So it is no surprise that most bookmakers find it difficult to choose between them. They are joint favorites on most lists, and the best price you will find for one of them is 5-1.
Given that he has won four times at the location of this week, Quail Hollow in Charlotte, McIlroy, looks more tempting than the world no. 1 on those opportunities.
But their dominance means that there are some decent prices for a different big name golfers, who can reward any way.

Justin Thomas Won the USPGA the last time he was held in Quail Hollow in 2017, and he also took this title in 2022.
The USPGA arrangement seems to fit him, and Thomas came from a loss of shape – and a series of frustrating almost – accident – to recover a place in the top five in the world ranking.
He went back to winning ways with a play-off victory in the heritage three weeks ago, and showed that he had not done the parties too much when he jointly finished second behind Sepp Straka on Sunday.
On a best priced 18-1 he looks a better value than that of defending champion Bryson Deschambeau and World No 3 Xander Schauffele.
Deschambeau warmed up for his defending defense with victory at the Liv Korea event and is third on the ODDS list behind Scheffler and McIlroy around 8-1. But his last round Flop at Augusta does not inspire trust, especially with those opportunities.
Schauffele finally cracked the Majors by winning the US Open and the Open last year.
But he does not shoot all the cylinders since he was sidelined two months earlier this year with a riblessel, although some of the eighth in Augusta was a considerable attempt. I would like to see something better before I accept the 20-1.
I prefer the chance of Collin Morikawawhich was put forward at the beginning of this year as a good bet on 11-2 to win one of the four Majors.
He won this title and took the Claret -Kan in 2021, and it is time for him to win one. The World No 4 is available on 25-1, and that seems worth taking.

Tight Is the only player other than McIlroy who has won more than once on the PGA Tour this year. It requires a lot to be back-to-back, but the former open second place is a tempting gamble on 66-1.
Tommy Fleetwood has made a habit of finding one or more players who performed slightly better than he, and it happened again when he ended in a draw for fourth place in the Waarten. But at 33-1 he also addresses a bet.
Corey Conners Is also a bit of an almost man – but another close call could almost still pay on a general 50-1. And at even greater prices, 125-1 shots Akshay Bhatia And Si Woo Kim are worth a little interest.
Andrew Novak A bit disappointed when he was bound 17th in the Waarmak, but on 150-1 it could be worth giving him a chance to bounce back.
