The spending scandal at USAID could land a number of federal employees in prison, because DailyMail.com has learned that a TOP -Trump officer recommends criminal charges for fraud in the program.
Members of the Foreign Committee of the House received a briefing on Wednesday from Pete Marocco, deputy administrator design at USAID.
Marocco was on Capitol Hill to update legislators on the continuous assessment of foreign help implemented by President Donald Trump.
During that meeting, Moracco told the legislators that he is considering sending criminal recommendations to the Ministry of Justice with regard to actions within USAID that is exposed by the Doge van Elon Musk.

'If they detect outright fraud, not only bad programs, not only inflammatory programs, not only programs that do not support the national interests of the United States, if they find fraud, then the abanders must be prosecuted, Self said.

Knowing that Marocco and USAID would not share their plans for criminal recommendations unless they had a stone fixed 'paper path'.
“You have to have a paper path to prove that,” added yourself. “And I doubt that they would refer someone without a very strong paper path.”
Another source in the meeting that spoke with DailyMail.com confirmed the potential legal steps.
“Marocco inquired the Full House Foreign Affairs Committee, Democrats and Republicans, that the waste, the fraud and abuse at USAID was more serious than initially supposed,” the source shared.
“He said the legislators that several references to the Ministry of Justice for criminal prosecution were considered,” they continued.
