The Trump government will reopen a detention center for immigrant families that was closed by former President Joe Biden.
The vast facility in Zuid -Texas was excluded from housing families four years ago when Biden tried to end the detention of children.
But in the midst of Trump's immigration performance, Corecivic revealed that the facility ran on Wednesday that it had reached a new agreement with the United States government.
The residential center in Zuid -Texas will reopen in Dilley with the capacity to keep 2,400 people.
Immigration and customs enforcement officials will allocate family units that discover that it illegally live in the United States at the facility.

At the end of 2021, Biden decided that the facility could no longer keep children because he was looking for alternatives to the detention of the storage for young people.
But Trump issued an executive order when he returned to the White House that wanted to reverse the protection of migrant children.
The order rolled certain protection back for migrants who forbade ice officers to arrest them at specific locations – including schools, churches and hospitals.
Since 2019, more than 600,000 immigrant children have crossed the border between the US and Mexico without a parent or legal guardian, according to government data.
Immigration enforcement officials were assigned last month to detect and deport migrant children who arrived in the United States without their parents.
It comes in the midst of increased pressure to reach President Trump's exalted deportation goals as part of his election obligation to resolve the American immigration crisis.
According to an internal memo seen by Reuters, agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will now focus their focus on non -counseled minors.

The memo mentioned a 'planning phase' to start on January 27, followed by three more implementation phases, to start on a non -specific date.
