The Charity Commission published the findings of its legal investigation into the Captain Tom Foundation after an investigation of three years.
The revelations proved damn. The committee found the pair guilty of misconduct and warned that the public was 'misled' when buying items that they thought would benefit the Captain Tom Foundation.
The largest payment day of the Ingram Moores came from the 'misleading' suggestion that the proceeds from a book deal of £ 1.4 million would go to the organization.
The committee revealed that they had been asked to 'put things right by making a donation to the charity in accordance with their original intentions as understood by those involved', but they had 'refused to do this'.

The company, Club Nook, run by the daughter of Kapitein Tom and her husband was originally intended to manage the commercial interests and intellectual property of the late army officer.
However, from the latest accounts submitted on companies, show that the financial fortunes of the company had collapsed, with a net current assets of only £ 149.
The previous year this figure was £ 336,300.
In the meantime, the company owes £ 67,000 in accounts until April 2024. The liabilities are registered as at £ 19,246 net, where it was £ 106,104 in black in the year until April 2023.

Mrs Ingram-Moore revealed her plans to publish a book entitled 'Grief: Public Face, Private Loss', in which she describes her struggle with the loss of her deceased father.
