Uperfect recently announced its new Omega series, a line of portable displays with the 22-inch Omega and the 17.3-inch Omega Mini.
These devices have a foldable and flexible design, so that they can be compressed in a compact 16-inch and 12.5-inch form factor, respectively, for easier storage.
The OLED Panel can fold or bend in each angle up to 180 °, thanks to a hinge system and flexible substrate that can be displayed 30,000 folding cycles without creases or shadows, common problems in other folding displays.
A good companion for mobile matters
When it unfolds, the device only measures 7 mm thick and 14 mm when folded, but still delivers sufficient screen real estate with a 3K resolution.
The display supports a wide color range with 100% DCI-P3 coverage, a contrast ratio of 100,000: 1 and a peak clearness of 500 cd/m².
It also features touchscreen functionality, supporting tap, swipe and zoom inputs, along with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 1MS response time.
Despite the slim profile, Uperfect has integrated built -in speakers, which contributes to a clean, cable -free design. A magnetic standard is included, so that users can adjust both viewing angles and height.
The monitor is aimed at company professionals and includes a layer of blue light technology and offers a viewing angle of 178 degrees to reduce harvesting tam during long -term use.
For connectivity it includes both USB Type-C and Mini HDMI ports, making compatibility possible with a wide range of devices, including laptops, game consoles, smartphones and cameras. It is also completely compatible with macOS, making it a potential companion Mac Mini Users.
This device can be ideal for mobile users who want to set a large display along the way. With a price tag of $ 2,499.99, however, it is difficult to justify costs, especially as even the most premium portable monitors are priced on less than half of that amount.
