A leading FIFA officer has summoned England To organize the World Cup for the first time since their home success in 1966.
The tournament in 1966 represents the only World Cup triumph of the nation after they have beat West Germany 4-2 at Wembley thanks to a Sir Geoff Hurst Hat-Trick.
And FIFA Vice -President Victor Montagliani – who runs football in North and Central America, as well as the Caribbean, in his role as President of Concacaf – suggests that England should throw their hat in the ring to organize the tournament in 2038.
In 2010, England offered to organize the World Cups 2018 and 2022, which were awarded to Russia and Qatar respectively. After European countries were effectively disqualified to host 2022, they concentrated on 2018 instead.
But England – whose bid was located by people like Prince William And David Beckham – only received two of the 22 votes from the Executive Committee in the first round of voting in a process that is entangled in claims of widespread corruption at FIFA.
Montagliani has said that the FA should try again to play hosts, apparently an ideal place for the global showpiece with the United Kingdom as a whole.

“I can’t see why, not just England, but the United Kingdom should not organize the World Cup,” the official said Time. ‘I think it would be a fantastic world cup and I think they should seriously think to bring their foot forward to host.
“We all know what the game means in the UK and I think it’s time.”
The upcoming world cups will be held on five different continents. 2026 takes place in the United States, Canada and Mexico, with Portugal, Spain and Morocco to play hosts four years later. Anniversary competitions will also take place in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.
Saudi Aarabia is then due to the tournament in 2034. Recent bids were granted without going through a vote on rival bids.
“I think the old way we used to do it where people just waste their money and then all these shenanigans happen – that’s ridiculous,” Montagliani added. ‘Let’s get away with that.
‘Let’s become a good company. Let’s have a strategy for event management, so that we rotate it well, everyone gets a crack in it.
“The reality is that the World Cup generates 80 to 90 percent of FIFA income, which then sends 80 percent back to its members for the development of football, and if FIFA does not generate that money, there is a considerable number of the 211 countries that do not have the money to develop football.”
The VK will organize the World Cup 2035, which can offer a launch platform for another attempt to organize the men’s competition.
The UK and Ireland also organize the men -euros in 2028.
