Legend Stuart Pearce, England, suffered a health ride on a flight from Las Vegas, making the plane an emergency landing in Canada.
The 62-year-old, who played 78 times for the Drie Lions between 1987 and 1999, was connected to a monitor by the crew and hurried to the hospital after landing.
The flight was on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner plane and went from Vegas to Heathrow. It landed in St John's in Canada on Monday after the staff had made the decision to land prematurely.
Pearce and his partner had fleeed economics, making the United States left at 8:45 pm at 8.45 pm on Sunday. He is now recovering in the hospital, with the remaining 225 passengers who later flown to Heathrow and arrived six hours later than they were – at 6:15 pm on Monday.
He was in Vegas to watch Warrington Wolves – the Rugby League team that he supports – stands for Wigan Warriors before he went home.
It is thought that the aircraft was 30,000 feet when the incident took place, the nature of which is still unknown.

A source told the sun that Pearce seemed to be uncomfortable during the flight and deteriorated his condition while it continued.
It was said that he had constantly shifted position in his chair, with crew and other patients, who were trained and attended him at first aid.

“The safety and well -being of our customers and crew is always our first priority and our apologies for the delay in the journey of our customers.”
Pearce has been a fan of Warrington Wolves since he hit friendship with former coach Tony Smith.
He has regularly attended games around his busy schedule of Punditry work and various conversations, including at events and universities.
He was last involved in football when part of the coaching staff of David Moyes in West Ham, before he left in 2022.

The veteran also worked in Portsmouth, before he became Moyes' assistant at West Ham in November 2017. He left the club at the end of the 2017-18 season with Moyes and returned again in August 2020 for two years.
