A restauranteur in Sydney who previously said that the 'gay community' was not welcome in his cafe, has hit a planned boycott of his new location and told angry locals that 'resentment is like drinking poison and expects the other person to die'.

Mark da Costa closed his Waterloo Cafe Hale and firmly after returning after sexist and homophobic comments that he made online.

After he closed the cafe, he spent five years driving Ubers.

“Those comments from mine were childish and opinions that I don't have today,” he told the Sydney Morning Herald.

“I no longer participate in political issues and will only take care of the locals and Sydney to offer a eatery where they can feel that the food adds value to their own personal health goals.”

Mr. Da Costa opens a new company at King ST with the location of the 'seed oil -free and wholefoods' planned to open on March 19.

The 'Progressive' Binnen-West van Sydney is not an area that will probably tolerate people with a history of LGBT virginity, and some locals have already vowed to boycott the new eatery.

However, Mr da Costa hopes that the locals will forgive his 'Meltdown' in 2020.
