Police divers discovered the body of a man after a search was started for a missing fisherman on the south coast of New South Wales.
The police were called about 5 km from Boyds Tower in Edrom, south of Eden, around 5.10 pm on Friday, after reports, after reports a man of rocks had been swept into the water.
A search started for the man and was suspended at about 7.20 pm.
The search went on during the weekend and resumed today on Monday, police -Duizers found the body of a man in Leather Jacket Bay around 10.15 am.
Officers affiliated with the Marine Area command were helped by officers affiliated with the South Coast Police District, Marine Rescue NSW, SES and Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
Officers affiliated with the police of the South Coast have established a crime scene.
It is believed that the body that is of the missing 34-year-old fisherman.
A report will be drawn up for the coroner.
