IFI’s new Up Travel solves two common problems for travelers: using your wireless headphones with entertainment during the flight made for cable connections, and streaming from music to entertainment in the car and other audio systems that do not do Bluetooth-Audio.
The UP Travel is a two-way Bluetooth adapter that you can use to stream from systems during the flight to your headphones, or from your phone to the Aux-in port of a vehicle or audio product.
With the device you can combine and listen on two sets in one go on two sets, although the battery is good for 10 hours, so it may not be due to the longest flights.
It has a microphone with noise and ultrasound reduction for clear calls when you are back on the ground, because why not.

The UP trips is not just a wireless dongle. It is also a good DAC. Instead of the Bluetooth chipset also processing the wireless and the audio, the Bluetooth module focuses purely on transmission and reception, while the audio conversion is handled by a Cirrus Logic Masterhifi DAC and the tailor -made circuits of IFI, just like in IFI.
The supported codecs include all supplies (although the availability depends on your device and what it supports), including APTX Adaptive, APTX HD, APTX Low Latency, LDAC, SBC, AAC, AAC and LHDC/HWA. And in a nice touch you can change codecs, so you want, for example, the highest possible quality for listening to music, but switch to something with a lower latency to stay synchronous with the film during the flight.
The IFI Up Travel is $ 99 / £ 99 / € 99 (approximately AU $ 205).
IFI has also launched a second travel -oriented product, the IFI Go Pod Air. It is designed for audiophiles who do not want to give up their wired iem’s, but who need the convenience of cable -free listening. It sends at a maximum of 24-bit/96 kHz and supports all important high-quality codecs.
It also has built -in microphones for calls. The Go Pod Air costs $ 249 / £ 249 / € 249 (approximately AU $ 515).
