Her lawyer Douglas Wigdor insists that the images are authentic and expects it to be admitted as evidence in Diddy's coming process.
In a statement to DailyMail.com, Wigdor rejected Diddy's argument and said: “It is not surprising that Diddy would make an unfair argument to exclude the disturbing video to be shown to the jury in the coming trial.”
He added: “I am convinced that the video fairly and accurately shows what happened, as proof will be admitted and that combs will be held responsible for his corruption.”
Diddy's team claims that CNN has changed and destroyed the original images, arguing for the exclusion in court, but the camp of Cassie expects the motion to be refused.
CNN denied the claims of Combs that the clip has been edited to make him look worse.
“CNN has never changed the video and did not destroy the original copy of the images, which was retained by the source,” a spokesperson for the network told TMZ. 'CNN broadcast the story about the video a few months before Combs was arrested.
