A vlogger in Utah died tragically only a week after retaining serious burns in an accumulation of 10 cars while traveling to the wedding of a friend in Mexico.
Elise Caffee, 45, known for her relatible family content, died days after she and her husband, Dan Caffee, were involved in a breeding car wreck that saw a 'truck full of hot asphalt', turned their car and kick the mother of three underneath.
The couple were reportedly on the way to a Cancun loyalty location to celebrate the wedding of a good friend when the devastating accident occurred.
“Elise and then on March 6 arrived in Mexico for a wedding and on their way to their hotel they were involved in a 10+ autopilup on a highway in Cancun,” reads a message on Instagram, shared by Elise's loved ones.
“A truck full of hot asphalt turned them, turned their car around, felt Elise underneath and dumped steaming hot asphalt on her, as well as the people for the other cars,” the post went on.
The moving incident 'Wonderful' happened 'immediately for a hospital', while the travel inspector, who led the travel blog '3 Kids Travel', was immediately taken care of.
“Hospital staff hurried and immediately started to try to get people under cars, just like then, but were burned by their protective gloves because the asphalt was so hot.”
Her family continued to provide updates about her recovery, creating a new Instagram account, 'Elisecaffeupdates', was meant to keep her nearly 47,000 followers in the loop as tHe Sandy-Native was treated in Mexico.

“Elise is currently stable and is being intubated and stunned with a neck catheter to help her get liquids and medicines,” the family wrote on Instagram the day after the accident.
The post also confirmed that medical staff 'worked to clean the asphalt of her burns and to help her become stable so that she can be transferred with an ICU medicanje to the burn unit of the University of Utah.'
The beloved Mama blogger was eventually transferred and flew to the Burn Unit of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City for further treatment.
Two days before her death, the update page explained that the mother recovered from an operation to remove damaged tissue, but remained in critical condition.

In one of the last messages before she announced her death, the family posted that they had a 'quieter day' than the previous one.

Many of her family continued to gather in the Utah Medical Center to support their wounded loved one, but on Wednesday around 11 p.m. the distraught family provided a painful update.
“We are absolutely deeply sad to share the news of Elise's death tonight,” they shared in a message. 'She held stuck for so long and fought so hard against an impossible series of circumstances.
“Absolutely everything that could have been done for her was ready and we are so grateful that she was able to get home to say goodbye to her family before she left us.”
The driver who had the task of guiding the couple to the lush Mexican retreat could not be saved in the accident and was declared dead on the spot.
