Riibe, a senior at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, claimed that he had just met the young woman when they decided to go to the beach, according to the transcript of his interview obtained by Noticias Sin.

He revealed that they had kissed in the ocean before they were almost wiped away by a wave. He said he saved her from drowning while he almost lost consciousness.

“We were at waist-deep water. We talked and kissed a little, “said Riibe. 'A big wave came and met both of us. And when the water returned, it wiped us to the sea. As soon as we were able to come up, we tried to ask for help. '

He explained that he previously worked in a swimming pool as a lifeguard and tried to bring them both to safety when he started to feel sick.
