Air Canada apologized after a controversial map showed Israel as 'Palestinian territories' during the flight.
The image that was shared on X, which raged furiously, showed the screen of a passenger with the map in the flight on a flight from Vancouver to Toronto on Monday.
The world map was zoomed in and showed the name 'Palestinian territories' instead of Israel.
The relocation led to online indignation, because many online users called the airline for 'Wissen Israel'.
“Iran and Hamas want to erase Israel, but I expected better from @Aircanada,” the user wrote. 'This card was seen on an Air Canada flight from Vancouver to Toronto. Shameful. '
Another said: 'This is very concerned about @Aircanada flight card on its IFE screens this morning flight between Vancouver & Toronto … showed Israel wiped the card. This is certainly anti -Semitism. I'm speechless. '
“Canada really tries, very difficult to wake up as much as possible,” they wrote.
“Very discouraging. I am sure that Air Canada has a number of anti-Semitism-loaded employees who have to be fired, “wrote another.
